Corporate "Day Care" is the name I affectionately give to the organizational consulting arm of my business. I call what I do “day care” because I spend a good deal of time teaching people in organizations how to “play nice.” In my role as organizational consultant, I teach people how to work together more effectively.

I do this by focusing on areas such as:

• Improving communication
• Resolving conflict
• Managing time
• Creating effective meetings
• Creating and conducting effective employee evaluations
• Assisting individuals and groups in setting and achieving goals

My work is done with people individually or with small groups. While a great deal of my work is done with members of upper management, I spend a good deal of time with rank and file employees.

The other area of focus is the corporate retreat. These are held once a year and allow participants an opportunity to focus on the organization’s goals for the coming year. These retreats are often preceded by a SWOT analysis in which we look at the organization’s Internal Strengths and Weaknesses and External Opportunities and Threats. At the retreat we focus on two specific issues and begin the process of creating an action plan. The process continues after the retreat as I work with management and employees to insure the goals developed during the retreat are met.
